Mom...used to work there. So did I... when I was a Teen.
; )
Mom worked in The Drapery Workroom.
I...worked in The Tea Room.
Bill found the Darling...little Dance Costume.
Precious!!

had to snap an image of the original tag, on The Wig Case.

Didn't go to Marion, today.
Bill did, for a bit, this morning.
We're battening down the hatches.
They say... Warn... we've got some Ugly Weather, about to hit.
Ran the bathtub full of water.
If we lose power, won't have water.
We have our own well.
They're saying... possibly 70 mph. winds.
Hail...
Tornadoes...
oh my.
: (
Of course... I fret with any rain.
The Flooding issues IDOT wrongfully created, and have Yet To Repair...
worry me sick, with every raindrop.
Can't be too far from Home, when rain is forecasted.
: (
This is going to be a long day.
The Warnings, at this point... run until late evening.
Plan on having The Rabbit Hole 'OPEN'...
Saturday... 11-4.
and...
Sunday... 12-4.
If... we don't Drown, or... Blow Away!

{Talked with The Kids. They are all Buttoned Up, at their Homes.
After going through The Derecho... in 2020, we kinda... around here... get a little nervous, when Big Wind... is forecasted.
; )
Miss. Scarlett, and Liz.... really get nervous.
They were hit pretty hard, in Elberon.
Justin was too...in Cedar Rapids.
We were hit hard, but...not as hard as Folks right across the highway from us.
I...didn't think we'd have a building standing.
We were Very Blessed.
Liz's favorite movie, when she was little, was The Wizard of Oz.
Not anymore.
She can't watch it.
Adam's Work... let him, and everyone...go Home, early... this afternoon.

We're very Blessed, in The Midwest, most Homes... have Basements.
When I see the horrific images of the recent Mississippi Tornado... Heartbreak, oh my.
: (
In The South, few...have basements to shelter in.
So...incredibly sad.
Heartbreaking.}
