<3
Mimi, and Rich...took 4 of my Best...Display Pieces...last night.
Mimi...helped pile things Everywhere.
<3
The Building...was about to close.
Sure was nice visiting with them...after we got everything loaded.
<3
Amazing...Amazing...People.
<3
but...I had to
Leave EVERYTHING...in a Shambles...last night.
Load's to get Done...this morning.
Wow!
Had to pile most everything...on the floor.
wow.
When I got to Gold Rush...this morning, pulled an Old...Old...Wooden, Three Board Top...10 foot Folding Table... off...of The FUSO.
Set it up...and started 'setting'...It.
{Below...is a Dear...Sweet Customer, Long Time...Customer, whom...I dearly Love.
<3
She's an Inspiration.
<3
She saw...The Mountains of Vintage Lucite Grapes, in the booth, {they all sold, to a Wonderful...Gal.}
and brought me hers, she'd had for years.
As a Gift.
<3
I'm Keeping Them.
<3
I'll think of Her...Every Time I look at them.}
<3
The Old Table....was a Wonderful Workhorse!
<3
Kept Layering. Stacking...
Bought an old Cubby piece, below... from a neighbor...down the way...Marlene, that really Helped...get things Up.
: )
Kept picking away...at the poor, 'melting'...Booth.
Things...were selling, nearly as quickly...as I could get them off of the floor.
: )
Then...two Darling Gals, came in...they were Interested..in the Old...Arbor.
I'd pulled it from The Rabbit Hole...last minute, Thursday morning.
Since I was doing this show...alone, didn't put up walls, like usual.
Thought I needed an Anchor, for The Booth.
Priced it pretty high.
Did Not...want to sell it.
The Gal's asked what my Best Price...was.
Told 'em I was Firm.
{That's rare...with me, especially...with Great Customers. <3 }
Told her...There was No Way...I was going any Lower...on That Arbor, and...was Nervous, about shooting her That Price...fearful...she might take it..
; )
She smiled..and said...
"You Should Be....and, I Am!"
Damn It!!!
Hahahahahahaha!
Damn..... It!!!
<3
Helped them load...the Sweetheart...below.
I'm pretty good, at figuring how to put 10 pound's of sugar...in a 5 pound bag.
; )
It's going to a Very....Good...Home.
<3
Then...My Pal...'Big John'...stopped by, to say Hello.
: )
It's Always...So Good to See John.
: )
He gave me Huge Crap...for my 'New'... Hair Color!!
Hahahahahaha!
then...
went on, and said...he could probably...Get Used to It.
; )
Hahahaha!
: )
John..Always...makes me Smile.
: )
Such a Good Man.
; )
{John, said he'd Really...Be Happy, if I Colored my hair....'GREEN'...instead of 'RED'!!!}
Hahahahaha!!!
; )
{It's a 'John Deere' 'Case' IH...Thing.}
; )
Love Gold Rush...So Much, because...of The PEOPLE.
They...are Amazing.
Amazing.
<3
The Lady...above, asked if she could cut through my booth, when she arrived.
Absolutely!
Then...on her way, back out...of the show...asked if she could look at more of my linens, and sit down with me, just outside my booth.
: )
Absolutely.
<3
I, pulled all of the linens...out, to her...and sat with her, as she went through them.
Her name is Joyce, like one of my Sister's.
Her name is Joyce, like one of my Sister's.
This 'Joyce'...and I,..have a Mutual Love...of Handwork.
<3
Joyce, unlike myself...does...fine...needlework.It was such a Treat...to watch her...appreciate...examine, and identify...all of the Beautiful Needlework.
<3
My ankle...was bothering me, so...sitting, with Joyce, just outside my booth, was Perfect, and...the Customers, GOT It.
<3
{Told them all...when ya come in The 'Simply Iowa'...Booth, you'll be Treated like Family.
: )
Be Ready...to Work!!"
<3 <3 <3

when I turned his Key.
: (
Acted like dead batteries.
They were put in Brand New...last Wednesday.
Crawled under him...checked the wiring, connections...then, took a hammer, and...tapped on the Starter.
No Dice.
: (
Daughter, Liz...called this morning, to tell me she, and Adam...are coming tomorrow, to help me load out.
{almost told them not to, because...'I Got This'... ; ) ; ) ; )
We're Sailin' Home...Light. }
Glad I didn't.
Texted Adam, told him to throw some tools, and jumper cables...in the Indian's Saddlebags, when they come.
Could be the Alternator. Could be a wire...could be...the Starter...or, could be...junk, new batteries.???}
Grateful...Friends, Colleen, and Daryl...gave me a lift, to the hotel.
They'll pick me up..in the morning, as well.
<3
The FUSO...is safe, and, nearly...sound....just outside our Booth.
<3
Grateful...he got us where we needed to be.
Grateful...we have Kids, that know How To Fix Things!!
<3 <3 <3
