It's an hour drive.
I, can't take any chances of water coming inside our home, without me being here.
{Because of IDOT District 6, their Wrongful...Trail...Accommodations, for Fairfax, They've Flooded Our Home, 8 Times, over the last year.}

Those Wrongful...'Trail' Accommodations, must mean A Lot...to Them.
Our Home...

Livelihood...

We made it 'Home'...just before the Rain.

Well....
only got about a half gallon of water in the house....last night, because of the year and a half old... District 6's Temporary Fix, of our downspouts.
{Better than 10 Gallons, like many Previous Floods, or Destroying our Entire Basement}
Imagine this....
Taking a Half Gallon of Orange Juice, and Pouring it on Your Brand New Carpet.
Then...replacing it, and doing it again, and again...and again...after each replacement.
We have polished concrete...floors.
Praise God.
However...I smell Mold.
When we take Christmas...from under the staircase, I can Just about Imagine...what we're gonna find.
We got somewhere between .12 to .58 inches of rain...last night.
Nothing....really.
Enough to show...water likes to run down our mess of a drive, that's higher, to accommodate Fairfax's Trail.
It was too dark, to take images...of the water ponding, last night.
Captured a few...this morning.
I don't bother...putting the WetVac...away, anymore.
The Mess....District 6 left us with, after a little rain.
