Sure Must Enjoy Flirtin' With Disaster.
The Dump Truck...was making a right hand turn, onto Stallman Drive.
{In front of The Rabbit Hole.}
He was merging from the Southbound 151 Lane, onto the paved shoulder,
{that Is NOT a Right Turn Lane}
A Semi was On His Tail....
{Normal}
As you can See....
The Semi is merging to the Left...Into The Left Turn Lane....
Which is NOW...a wrongful...Passing Lane.
The Semi...was Nearly Completely...in The Left Turn Lane...to avoid The Dump Truck.
Instead of The Semi...slowing Down...
he just...Jumped in The New...'Improved' Left Turn Lane.
Put The Hammer Down..and Kept FLYIN'!

Not Just This Truck Driver.
THEY ALL DO.
Cars...Trucks...Motorcycles.
Shared these concerns with District 6, and Fairfax...City Hall, long before they broke ground.
Verbally...and In Writing.
Many...Many...Times.

Ya can't see our Drive...with the 3 Feet Higher Elevation...District 6 Blessed Fairfax City Hall with their Accommodations for Their Bike/Walking Trail...Under the bridge in front of our Home....
Until...Folks are On Top Of Me.

The sad thing...will be, when someone...is actually Using that Left Turn Lane...properly, and They...either get Hit Head On...

Whatever I happen to be Driving...making a Right Turn...into The Drive...get's it's Tailpipes Shoved Through The Front Bumper.

Sure Wish...District 6 wouldn't have Breached our Recorded Agreement, for Fairfax's Suicide Trail...and...kept the Wax Out Of Their Ears.

Noticed a School Bus, trying to make a left turn...off of East Cemetery Road.
He had to Jump...in That Turn Lane...to merge into The Insane...Southbound Lane...of Super Highway...151.
Yeah...This Is a Circus.
Scary.

Can you see our Drive?

It's on the right...you can Just...see the top of The FUSO Box Truck.
So...when I, or anyone...needs to pull in there, This...is where you'd put your Right Turn Signal on, After The West Cemetery Road Intersection.
{No sooner, or everyone will think you're Turning onto West Cemetery.}
With a Speed Limit...of 50, to this point...{They Run 60, or better...}
{IDOT District 6...RAISED The Speed Limit...when they completed this mess.
City Hall...was Shocked...by that. ; )
This is a SUPER HIGHWAY...Now.
No Surprise...to me. Tried to tell 'em.

The purpose of me walking in the rain...this morning was to take pictures of the Basin, IDOT District 6 have Now Put Us In by Breaching Our Recorded Agreement.
Took around 150 images.
Thought I'd start off...with The Dump Truck...
It's Sickening....This All Could've Been Avoided.
All Of It.
Making a Left turn onto 151, North...is a Huge Mess looking over that Big Bowed Wrongful Trail Laden Mess.
oh my...
City Hall says they are going to move West Cemetery Road.
They're not moving East Cemetery...
That's A Mess Getting On To 151, with That Bridge Height, as well.
If Ya Think...The IDOT has made a Mess...Here, wait 'till Ya See Fairfax's PLAN.
The Farmer's will LOVE It.

It's going to intersect with Super 151, near Casey's....where MANY, Many...Horrible Accidents Happen.

This is in front of The Rabbit Hole...this morning.
I'm sure Newman...from District 6 recalls, when I suggested.....that District should incorporate Stallman Drive with EIB's New Drive...to the South, eliminate Yet Another Turn...and have it Wide Enough For SEMI'S.
Nope...he didn't see it that way.
So...went ahead...put in another Drive...'TURN'...and Shortened Up Stallman, with Too Tight Of A Turn..., that Truck's Can't Make...without Tearing Up The Ground.
Took our Drainage Away...in the Process...by putting us in a Basin...
That...was a Brilliant...Move.
Brilliant.
I remember...chatting with Steve Staebler...from District 6, in our Home...long ago, with Jo Ann Beer, former Councilwoman....and AJ Stanley...also, from District 6...concerning that left turn lane...becoming a 'Passing Lane'.
He said... "Well...That's Illegal!"
