The 'Face'... above, on the Old Cupboard, is my FAVORITE Piece of Marion's Art.

We felt... it would be too difficult for some Folks, to get to... so, this afternoon, Bill, and me...
took it all Up, to the Front.

Sure enough, as soon as we set the last Concrete Bench, the Sirens went off.
They went off several times as we worked this late afternoon.

Grateful... the City of Cedar Rapids... and the MPO, didn't charge us, like Fairfax, and Fairfax's hired Lawyer did, for theirs.
Fairfax... if, I recall, charged us around 1200. for 'Their' Public 'records'.
Cedar Rapids, and The MPO charged us, 30. for Theirs.
Thirty. Dollars.
What the 'Public' can actually...
'afford'... To pay,
to...
'See'.
{Didn't take 'Months'... to get them, from Cedar Rapids, either.
Cedar Rapids, got them to us... quickly.}
Hand delivered the 30. check, to The Cedar Rapids City Attorney,
before I went to Marion's to work, today.

I know a little, about a lot of things, but Marion has some things, I was kinda stumped on.
The 'Market' has changed so much over the decades.
Up, and Down.
So Appreciate Them Taking Time this morning to help out.
We don't price things at 'retail' at Estate Sales, but... we want to be fair to our Clients.

We've got to 'Sell'... in a very short period of time.

It's a Fine Line... to walk, being 'Fair', to The Customer... and Client.

Took a few of Marion's Baskets, after Dale, and Bud left, to Thom, and Cathy Rawson's,
{Sanctuary Antiques, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.} this afternoon.
They were busy loading for a Country Show, on the East Coast, but took time out, to take a peek at Marion's Baskets.
After we finished discussing Marion's Baskets, Cathy and I... sat outside, in their Beautiful Courtyard, and 'Visited'.
It's been too long.
Marion shopped with these Wonderful Folks, over many, many years.
We are, truly... like 'Family'.

I'd written a bit on how we put these Estate, and Living Estate Sales, together.
The Family... comes through, first... we Strongly Encourage them to Keep... Anything, and Everything... they think they may want.
Piece's can Always be sold, they won't come back... once they're gone.
After the Family removes what they have decided to take...
then, we go in, and put the Home back together.
The images will change, Rooms will Fill Out, as we pull items from throughout the Home.
basically... we 'Stage'... Homes.
Marion's Home is very spacious.
Beautiful.
{It will be listed for sale... after the Estate Sale.}
We are just showing 'Snippets'... as we get through Room by Room.
