Southern Iowa... Run.
Me and The Ford... were runnin' pretty strong, once we hit The Road...
South, yesterday.

Grabbed a little Grub, for me... and Charlie, on the way.
Figured me and The Ford... would arrive about lunch time.
I know too well... during 'Sale Time'... there's never a good time to eat,
often...we don't.
Knew... Charlie would be hungry.
; )
Hadn't planned on stopping at any Sales... on the way, but...
couldn't fly by Crawfordsville, without visiting some of my Favorite People.
Couldn't do it.

Spotted a Cool... Cast Iron Piece, {from the front end of an old Tractor}that I thought would make an interesting Stand, for something...
but, would have to get the top piece off.

It was SO Hot, I didn't want Charlie...to exert any Energy, in That Heat.

Charlie grabbed his Big Maul Hammer, and Beat the Heck... out of it.

Hittin' the Road.
Was going to visit Pal, Charlie.... tomorrow, but... decided to take the Drive, today.
Getting a bit of a late start, this morning. It's already gettin' toasty.
Normally... I'd hit all of the Sales, enroute to Charlie's... but, not this time.
Think I need 'The Road'... more than anything else.

Thought about having the Rabbit Hole Open... today... Plenty to Do...
but, again...
'The Road'... sounds pretty good.

It's All... About The Journey.
Wrote a long post... last night.
: )
Yesterday was such a Crazy... Busy... Hectic... Day.
Picked up a big load of furniture for the Fall Harvest Sale... first thing... then, seemed to run in tight circles the rest of the day.
Wrote about Dear Friends, over the years, and the Good Times... we've shared.
: )
Seems like it was just... yesterday... and... a lifetime ago.
Pal, Steph... popped by, after work... night before last.
We sat under John's Old Oak... and, 'listened' to each other, until dark.
: )
Sometimes... that's all we can do, all... we need to.
: )
After re-reading last night's post, deleted it.
Yesterday... was so strange.
Felt kind of sad... and deflated, all day.
That 'meeting'... kinda took the wind out of my sails.
Reminiscing... about the Good Times, last night was helpful...
then, it wasn't.
Difficult to put into words.
Used to think how stressful, times were back then... but looking back, they were some of the happiest times.
They were stressful, but... a whole different kind of stress.
Maybe... that's just how 'Life'... works.
Trying to make sense of it all... is a bit overwhelming, at times.
Was thinking about what Friend, Ed... said, years ago...
before, everyone was saying it.
"It's All About The Journey."
Wonder... sometimes, if years from now, I'll look back, and see 'these' times... as
Good Times, too.
Maybe they are... and, I'm not seeing the forest for the trees.
maybe... it's futile, to try to make sense of any of it.
There are Many... Many, Blessings, that's for Sure.
Guess... They... are what should be focused on.

Looking at an Estate, out in the Country, about 40 minutes away

working down The Rabbit Hole.
