Took Pal, Dave Johnson... out for Supper, this evening.

; )

Went to Edith Lucielle's, on Mt. Vernon Rd. Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

It's one of my Favorite Places, Dave... had never been there.

We had a Lovely Visit!!

Dave... is a Peach!!

Wanted to Thank him for calling me on his Beautiful Iron Fence, that me and The Boys delivered to Clear Lake, Iowa... Thursday.

That... was an Interesting Day.

Oh...my.

I'd planned on picking the fence up, on Thursday.

Had tried to sell it to a few of my 'Dealer' Friends... earlier in the week... but, they all passed.

So... Thursday morning put it on my Simply Iowa FB page, letting Folks know it would be coming to The Rabbit Hole, if it didn't sell...here, it was going on, to Junk Jubilee, in Des Moines, next week.

Had several people message me, right away... for a price, then... within 15 minutes of posting it, a Gal called, whom I didn't know... from Clear Lake, Iowa...

asked the price, told her... she said she'd take it.

I was going to pick it up, in two loads...with the Ford.

then...

got to thinking.

If we could get The Truckasaurus... and Brandon's car trailer...

we could deliver the fence, that afternoon.

{The Gal... was trying to figure out a way to get it picked up. They are Farmers...are still in the Fields.}

That meant, however... we'd have to drive 70 miles, round trip... to get The Truckasaurus.... then, another 40 miles, to get the car trailer...

then...

go to Dave's... in Cedar Rapids... load the fence, and head to Clear Lake.

{I really didn't want to load it on The Ford... twice... unload, here... then... 

have to reload it on her trailer, at a later date.}

Asked Justin J, and Brandon... if they were up for a Road Trip...

So... me, and Justin J... took Sally, and headed to his house, to get the Truck.

{had to have The Truck back, that night... Justin was taking his Dodge to The Diesel Dr., Friday morning.}

As we were driving, Justin J found my big case of cd's and started looking through them.

He ran across a Miranda Lambert cd, and asked...

 "Is this the Girl who sings the song about cutting her hair with rusty scissors?"

Hahahahahahaha!

Thursday... beat that day, by about 90 miles, with a Much Later Start!!

Had my sick...old phone, with. It was still...holding on, with the GPS, until it wasn't.

Oh...dear.

It Died...Died...Died, enroute.

Justin J, figured out the Truck's GPS, it got us to Clear Lake.

then...

called the Gal from Justin's phone, she met us at the edge of Clear Lake...

we followed her in.

She has Several Beautiful Homes... On The Lake!!

Stunning Place!!!

The Old Fence, will be Very Happy There!!

The Boy's were Impressed by The Beautiful... Lake, said they wished they would've brought their Fishin' Poles!!

Took them by The Surf Ballroom, told them the Buddy Holley Story.

It was a Long drive Home.

{The Boys... napped, most of the way. : ) <3 }

Dropped Brandon, and his trailer... in Lisbon, then... stopped in Fairfax, to let Miss. Peanut outside...then, on to Justin's... near Belle Plaine, Iowa.... to get Sally, and drop off The Truckasaurus... and Justin J.

That Day... went from Zero to Sixty, in The Blink of an Eye!!

So Enjoyed meeting Vicki, and seeing her Beautiful Place!!
