Worked a little on my 'Novel'... yesterday, but... was interrupted with some interesting news.
Seems, Fairfax's Mayor... is resigning.
He...wrote an 'interesting'... resignation.
There's been a lot of rumors.... flying around Fairfax, for some time.
None... that I'll repeat.
I will say, as most everyone knows, who follow's this blog,
nothing...
surprises me, when it comes to Fairfax.
Guess I'll be attending Tuesday's Council Meeting.
Not diggin' the thought of that.
Valentine's Day... is always difficult, after losing Dad, on February 13th.
The last place...I'd like to spend St. Valentine's Day...is at Fairfax, City Hall.
The council is also discussing the bridge, on West Cemetery Road, by Scout's Barn.
Fairfax will be condemning more of our land, for it.
IDOT, will now... be funding them.
I, find that... very, interesting.
Especially... when Fairfax's hired engineer's firm, will be heading this Massive project.
They are replacing a 20 -25 foot bridge, with what I hear... will be a MASSIVE 140 foot bridge, with a Bike Trail...On It, and Under...It.
The same size bridge, I hear... as the Federal Highway 151 Bridge, that has 13,000 to 15,000 vehicles a day.
Our...little West Cemetery Bridge, get's.... maybe, a few hundred, a day.
Even...if Fairfax develops, to the West, there won't be more than a thousand...a day.
Sounds like it's going to be a 1.4 Million Dollar Project, at Least.
It sounds like... they will be connecting The Bike Trails, under the Highway Bridge, {that isn't, IDOT keeps saying} and... The West Cemetery Road Bridge, Bike Trails.
For some reason... Fairfax's hired engineer, doesn't have plans...to show anyone, yet... they are getting funding.
Hmmmmm.
Maybe... that engineer, will have some drawings to show us, on St. Valentine's Day.
What...a Gift, that... would be.
Gotta Roll.
