Marveled at the long ago picked... Lily of the Valley, this morning.

Remember the day I picked it... from around the Old... Maple Tree, by The Rabbit Hole, but... don't recall the year.

It may have been this Spring... Last, or... possibly the Spring after, I remember fighting with a PCI person, {IDOT} about saving The Maple, while setting up at Junk Jubilee Jingles...in Des Moines.

2019.

These last four years have been a Blur.

oh... my.

It rained here... yesterday.

The early, early... morning rain... was amazing.

Mid morning, we received a couple of heavy spurts.

Had the day all planned out, but... since the IDOT/Fairfax... mess, here, 

well...

when it rains, I have to stay close to Home, if at all possible.

Even Grandson, Justin... was concerned, as he stood in the entryway... just outside the door, in water.

Bailed in Jethro... captured many images of 'ponding', where it hasn't 'before'.

We've been in drought years, since the IDOT/Fairfax Trail 'Project'.

Haven't had any opportunities, gratefully... even this, isn't 'real'... and 'normal' rain.

but, sadly... yesterday, was frightening, yet, sadly... again, as I've been warning for years, expected.

Water... simply does not run up hill.

When all of the places for water to go... is filled in, and removed... water finds other places to go, and sit.

Sent the images on to The Hands... they Needed to find.

Busy... day.

Just... not the kind of Day... I'd expected.

Got some of the work... I couldn't get to, yesterday... done, today.

Hopefully get caught up, by tomorrow.

Seems one question... always leads to another, concerning this ongoing Mess.

but...

 it's interesting what one will 'see', 'find'... while digging through old documents, and backtracking.

Some of it...was laughable.

in a very, sad... way.

Oh...dear.

One of the 'Fires'... I had to put out, yesterday...  did.

As I parted with the many People I'd dealt with, Thanked Each and Every Single One.

Spoke with their superiors.
