 surprised us...by popping in...on their way home, from The Chicago Botanic Garden Show...

It was such a Great Gift!.... They always...always...bring such Light...when they are here...

Their Truck is loaded heavy...so...not much shopping...which...was kind of nice....

Tho, we did bail in the truck...and hit a few shops...we mostly...just had fun...visiting...

Nice...!

Last night...was their last...night here...

So we did a little running...then jumped in Jethro....and rolled through the Countryside...

 Went to the Old Tavern in Waubeek... along the Wapsi River... I hadn't been there in over 30 Years! It hadn't Changed...One Bit! So Cool!

Then....we invited Brandon {Antique Dealer...Designer...Decorator..}{  www.housethingsstyle.blogspot.com }

and Gail... { Antique Appraiser and Dealer } to join us....for Supper...

at The Light House Supper Club...we all enjoyed the Live Jazz....

What a Treat!

I thought...as I was looking at them... How Much Knowledge...and Talent...is Rolled Up....into this Group...

They are...The Best...Of The Very...Best... all so very Different...but...incredibly Gifted... I was in Awe...

The One...Thing...They All Have in Common....

Big Hearts....they are all....Angels...

It's been a Crazy...Fast Paced....few days.... but...so much Fun....

My Soul Needed It!

Ed and Michael...are popping out this Morn...to say their 'Good byes'...and heading back home....to Texas... I'm always...sad to see them go... but...sure Loved...the time we shared....

After our Wonderful Supper..... We went to Gail's...Amazing....Condo... Wowza...Brandon...and The Boys...were in Awe! It's situated in an Old Bottle Works Factory...Gail has it Beautifully Decorated with a Huge array of  Vintage 'Bottle Cap Art'.... and some of the Most Amazing.... Stunning...really...pieces of Artwork... The Condo overlooks the City....It Truly...is...Breathtaking....

After touring through...Jones County.... Grant Wood Country... {where so many of his paintings were inspired,. created...and sold...}I took the Boys to an Old Watering Hole...from way back...in Waubeek, Iowa... It's an Unbelievable Old...Old...Tavern... Like a Time Capsule....Back Woodsy.... a Little Rough...around the edges.... and....so untouched....a Real....Gem...This was our Amazing Bartender.... The Place was Packed...and she never missed a Beat! The Tavern...is One...like no other.... you Simply Have to Go There...and Take it In! Wild!
