Had some Folk's pop in, about Lunch Time.

I'd just fixed myself a plate...of scallops with Wild Garlic... I'd noticed growing beside the House, this morning.

Told the Folk's... as I walked to The Rabbit Hole, with Lunch in hand, 

" Hope this is edible... : ) if not, let my Next of Kin... know, I 'Went Out'... enjoying Scallops."

After Closing... today, met with a Lady who wants us to conduct an Estate Sale for her Brother in Law's Estate.

Big House.

It was very Interesting.

There are pieces that came from The White House, back in the 1920's.

Wow.

Wow.

Then... went to The Marion Sale.

Packed up... Loaded up, pretty much...

Done.

Every Sale... leaves an imprint.

Pat's Sale... has really touched me.

She's an Amazing Woman.

I, passed on it.

{Bought a Big Load, from Linda... that day. Didn't have room. ; ) }

Pal, Wanda... {'Gatherings' Anamosa, Iowa }bought it on her way to Gold Rush.

Wanda... sold it, to Pal... Jan.

It lived with Jan's Pal, Larry... for several years.

When Larry...sadly, passed away... we conducted his Estate Sale, where...

I, bought it, on the second day.

Doesn't seem like The Rabbit Hole, without 'Life' pouring from The Fountain.

We've sure had some Good Times, in that Greenhouse, over the Years.

Before... IDOT Breached our Contract, before...Fairfax's Plans, that... 'never were', according to them, hahahahaha ... until, of course... They Are,  and, Wrongful Bike Trail Accommodations.

All of the wrongful Butchering... and Flooding.

have been just sitting there, 

late... on Summer Evenings, alone, listening to The Fountain.

Used to have candles... piled in an old Birdbath, in the Greenhouse.

Candles... everywhere.

Yeah.

Those...

were Peaceful...

Times.

'Moments'.

sometimes...

all ya need, is a 

'Moment'...

'Peace',

 now...and then.

picked up what didn't sell of Lea's Mom's... this morning.

I bought a few things, during the Sale... that belonged to Lea's Mom.

The above... handmade Horseshoe/Candlestick... covered in Vintage Bling... was one thing.

We never 'buy' before the Public comes through.

They get First Dibs.

I'd completely forgotten about that Cool Piece, until... the second, or third day of the Sale...

when Someone Else... was purchasing it.

Dang!!!

The Girl...who had it in her pile, really had an Eye.

She was Great....!! 

{but... we'd hate each other at an Auction. ; ) 

She bought Many Gnarly things, I'd had my eye on.}

I'd been working outside, as she was checking out... 

when I walked inside, after she left, 

there... sat the Horseshoe/Candlestick!!

Cashier, Gayle... told me the Girl changed her mind, decided she didn't want it.

I was really surprised the Darling... Blue Dancer, Lea brought... didn't sell.

Told Lea, about a 'Lady' I've had in the bedroom... for at Least 3 Decades.

 Remember the night I bought her.

Back... in the early 90's, at a consignment auction, in Springville, Iowa.

Those... were The Days.

When I rearranged my room, a while back, almost... parted with the 'Lady'....

couldn't let her go.

I, couldn't remember a time... she wasn't there.

Today... Lea, gave me... The Blue Dancer, to join my Lady.

He sent a dozen eggs home, with me... and three Goose Eggs.

They are Just Like Chicken Eggs...

Me, and Miss. Peanut... have shared a Goose Egg, the last two mornings, for breakfast.

I whisk one up... make a veggie omelet, with my half... and scramble the other, for Missy.

Grateful... the Kid's have Poultry.

They keep us fed.

came walking outside, with a stack of old books, and laid them out on my lap, in this order.

We worked at the Marion House, today.

Made deliveries this afternoon.

Daughter, Liz... took me to Lunch, at 'the hip-stir', in Marion.

I'd never been.

Very Fun!!

The food, was Fabulous!!

They had a cool church podium at the Hostess Station, that came from The Rabbit Hole.
