The Booth....on the last day of the Show...a lot sold...on Saturday...the Beautiful Silver Server, from a Chicago Restaurant...the Lovely mid 1800's Engraving... The Hog Oiler Urns...and lots of smalls...I sold many...many miniature Heart Padlocks... The 13'9 table is sold...here in Iowa, as well as a pair of the Beautiful Arched Windows...{2 sets of them} I will do something Great with the rest of them, for the Spring Sale....maybe....construct a Gazebo...type structure....I'm working all of the engineering out in my brain... it will be over the top.... The 'Walking Tour'...stopped by the Booth...and educated me, on this, what I call an Early Chest of Drawers...{I Love this style of furniture...This is what I have in my home....{right, with the server atop} It's actually a "Bureau"...from 1830, or 40.... I priced it at 345., it's all hand dovetailed...and...Amazing...and...it didn't sell...maybe the Giant Retail Stores would have a dresser style piece...that is 'cheaper'...in every way...but the price ...oh my...I don't get it.... |
Angels... Wanda, left... and Carol....They are my neighbors...always are...at Heart....I Love Them...They work their Hearts out...pulling the 'Under 200. Booth' together....all of the dealers contribute to this...and it's Wonderful! They took such good care of me.... |
Red Door's Booth....Tricia...is such a Doll...She had some Amazing Things.... I Loved it All... Lovely.... |
I had Wanda {Gatherings}...capture this....as we were rolling through St. Louie...It was a great drive home...no snow...or ice... we all felt blessed...the weather held.... |
We stopped north of St. Louie...for supper...it was wonderful....we had deep fried Green Beans...with our meal...Yum!{this is a Large Steak House...It surprised us....}....and had...Amazing Food....The Seared Tuna....was very good... |
Wanda...walking into the restaurant... Exhausted....No one...has a clue...how grueling...this show is...until you experience it....Wanda bought wonderful ...affordible...things at Heart...she bought...the bulk of her Gatherings...at The Heart of Country Show......she will sell like crazy...when she gets everything out.......I knew...she would be happy...with Heart... |
Jo...Exhausted.... Sometimes...the Body Language...says it all.... |
This is the 'A Simple Life' Booth...at Heart...they constructed a Log House...it was Beautiful.... |
Life Size Milk Cow... She belonged to my friend, Bob, from DeWitt, Iowa... She was Amazing... |
The next several shots, were taken, during set up....what an Amazing...Show....I feel Honored, to have been a part of it...I truly...do... |
I snapped this, as we walked through the Amazing Opryland Hotel.... It's like a City, within the Hotel....Incredible.... |
I'm still sorting ......in my head...and, really...don't trust myself...to make any decisions....while I am this drained...and worn out...on so many levels...
I was actually...drawing strength...from thin air....before I left home....I have to take....a deep breath...and decide...where...do I go from here....
This Show...always inspires...and it guides me, throughout the year....so...I'll process...
If you have called....or e-mailed...I'll get back to ya...just...give me a moment...
for now...I'm seeking shelter...from the wind....
Love, to ya..
