We got a little Snow...

Took a Stroll... this mornin', to check out The Wonder.

Oh dear.

Where the IDOT threw Snow... from Highway 151, is now sitting where Fairfax's Bike Trail... has been graded for it.

Imagine... if you will...

where the Snow is gonna be, when they Plow Fairfax's Bike Trail.

oh... dear.

Kinda took The Beauty... out of the Mornin'.

Above is where Son, Justin... plowed out our Drive.

Nowhere for it to go... now, either.

No Ditches.

We... Are The Ditch.

That's Fairfax's Bike Trail... on the 151 Bridge... in the top right corner, in this image.

all I could think of, while capturing these images.... was, 

what I've tried and tried to convey... to IDOT district 6 engineers, over many years, now....

"Water doesn't run uphill."

oh my. 

We Need a Bunch More... than a 'Pump'...

here, now.

 Neither does Snow, especially after it melts, and turns to water.

I Know... the Snow, and Water... has to find a place.

We used to Have That 'Place'...

before we were turned into a Basin... for Fairfax's Bike Trail 'Accommodations'.

We've been in 'drought years' since The Last highway 151 Highway/Bike Trail... 

Accommodations... 

'Project'.

yet... with very, very... little rain, we've had Flooding, and Ponding, that we've Never had in the past.

Used to Love... Snow, like this.

it's nothing but Worry.

There's nowhere for the Snow to Go... now, or... water, except on us.

In The Basin... we've become, for Fairfax's Bike Trail Accommodations.

There's So Many... other things, I'd sure like to be writing about...today.

Good Things.

Seems the above Mess... has taken Front and Center... for far too long.

Had our Recorded Agreement...we entered in to... in Good Faith, simply been Honored, by IDOT, oh my...

I believe with all my heart, 'life' for Many... would've been a Whole Bunch...

different.

I am Grateful to The IDOT Snow Plow Drivers.

They... take Great care of our Roads.

They can't be to blame for those who 'design' these roads, bridges...and bike trails.

Those Iowa Snow Plow Driver's... are The Very Best.
