{ I quit about 8, last night...ran out of steam...when Son, Justin called...on his way to the E.R....

He was working on 'J's little truck...and ran a knife...nearly through his arm....and cut a vein...20 stitches....Oh Boy! This is his second visit there...this week....while fishing, last weekend...he caught a Catfish....I thought he had hooked himself....noooo...the Big Catfish....left his Huge horn, lodged in his arm...they had to cut it out.... The Doctor who worked on him, last night...said the Doctor's all got together...to learn how to remove the horn....Justin was the talk of the E.R. It was a 'First'...for them....Oh Boy! Leave it to Old Justin!}

It was a Long Day... But...a Good One! It was Wonderful...visiting with Marv, Jeannie....and...their Family....It was hard.....walking into Andrea's Home...she had loved so....

Marv and I had a nice visit...he's doing pretty well....He has Faith... and that has carried them...

It Truly...Has...

I was delayed...on the trip home...saw two men...and a little boy...picking up a load of stuff...that flew off their truck...

I couldn't leave them....knowing...I had everything they needed...to hold the load tight...so...I went back...and helped them pick up...the debris....and loaned them three ratchet straps....we got it tied down...tight......

They used bungees....bad...bad...bad.... They said...how mad the wife was going to be...I said...they were blessed....only one box was ruined....and...no one got hurt.... it could have went into someones windshield.... They were such nice men....one, was battling cancer...and he was sooo young...

This is a Large....Wooden Bowl...I have in the House... It was broken...in two...John took some old tin scraps...and patched it for me.....several years ago.... Love...It....

Many years ago....when my friends, Michael, and Ed came through....{Leftovers Antiques}Michael said he was looking for broken wooden bowls... to patch... I sold him a couple... then, I ran across this one....and asked John...if he could fix it..... The rest is history.... Thanks, to Michael's Great Idea.... I put John to doing his artwork...on the Old Darlings....

and that led to so many other cool things....John has created....

No worries...if Michael needs them...I'll find him some...too...

This has been working on me...all afternoon...since I received the call...from Marv...
I went back...30 years...
 I was sent...to a home...just up the road...to haul a car away...
I pulled in...with the Hauler... and a Man...was standing...outside...waiting for me....
I winched the wrecked car...on the truck...as he stood there...he...barely spoke....
He asked me...how old I was...I said...nineteen....
and took the binders out...and cinched down the car....
When  I got back....with the totalled car... I realised...why I was sent on the job...
That man...had lost his Daughter...in that car....
She was 19....
No one...wanted to go there...and face the Man...
 I had....no idea....
I'm sure...he was thinking.... I was his Daughter's age....
I was Sick....
Heart Broken...for that Poor...Man....
I'll never...forget that day....}

Some Sweet Friends are bringing a load...of Garden Stuff....sometime this weekend....so I have got to get rockin'!

I've had some calls on the Porch... Not sure how it will be priced...probably....individually...The posts....and trim....or...I could do a Package Deal!

Prayers....to Sweet Joey...he lost his Best Friend, yesterday.... and Rick, who lost is Brother...Love...Love...Love...to You...and Yours...

Don't be Discouraged....it may be...the Last Key...on the Ring...That Opens...The Door...

My friend, Bart, brought me some treasures....late in the day...yesterday....Among them...was a container....with tons of Old Keys....I used to wear an old key around my neck.... I read, long ago...a little saying, in my 'Streams in the Desert'..."Don't be discouraged...it may be the last key, on the ring, that opens the door...."

I find myself , getting so frustrated...at times...then, I think of this....

It goes right along...for Thanking God...for Unanswered Prayers.... {they are always answered....just, not the way, I may have hoped them to be.... but...He knows...The Best...and....in time...that is always shown...{How many times...have I really thought....if this, or that would happen...life would be Great....then...'that'...didn't happen...and....oh my...was I thankful...If 'That'...would have come to pass...'This'...wonderful 'Blessing...wouldn't have found it's way, to me...}

It's when you are in the middle...between the Prayer...and the Ultimate Blessing...The Key...is such a Perfect Little Reminder....

While I was playing...in the Old Keys, yesterday... I spotted This One! It's an Old...old..'Ford' Key....John says, it's from the 40's....It was all dark...and crusty...I could barely read the Old Logo.... {I think..'it' found my hand.... I'm like a Magnet...to anything 'Ford'!....It was My Treasure...for the day!} I whisked it up to the house last night....got the Bar Keeper's Friend' out....and gently cleaned the Old Key up.... Love It!

It was a Long....Day....Yesterday....by the end of it...I was one...solid...aching muscle! I got the back yard, behind the shop picked up...and had the burn barrel Blazing! By evening...I was sitting on an old bench...playing with keys...and watching the fire....

Today...I'm taking on the Rabbit Hole!

A friend, stopped by yesterday...and peeked inside....he said.."WHEN...do you have to have this done..????!!!"

I told him....he said..."oh my God...I don't know....how..." Then...went on to say...."well...I guess...some people won't mind digging through....this...some people...like, to dig..." and dropped his head...as he walked out the door....... Oh..He of Little Faith....: )

Friends...I can not...begin to tell ya...what a Mess I'm in...

as my Pal, Steph, would say....

As I was frantically...plowing through my purse...searching for a business card...with a phone number on it...I ran across this, unopened greeting card....I thought....'where did this come from?'...as I opened it...I remembered, Allyson had handed it to me...as I bailed in her car...headed for the UNI DOME show...and I stuffed it in my purse...as we commenced to visiting...
Then..as you know...I have been at a Dead Run...ever since!
I opened it... this afternoon...and my Heart...Melted....

I picked up some Lovely Things...Yesterday...with every Trip...around the Hamster Wheel...oh my...The Miles...and...Lugging...Loading...Unloading...Reloading...then...Unloading..Then...Moving Furniture...around...and around....

Always...running against the wind...it seemed... It was soooo windy...{that always drives me Frickin' Crazy....fighting the wind....it makes work...Twice as hard...it seems...and..it's so unsettling...}

These Violas...were the first thing....that caught my eye...this morn...while walking into the Old Greenhouse...They were Smiling...from ear to ear! {I brought home, a nice load of Vintage Iron Furniture.... for the Garden Party.... I Love that stuff...it's so...Beautiful...inside...or out....}
