Jerri's Estate Tag Sale. December 2, 3,4, and 5.
We visited Jerri's Estate, yesterday.
Took many images, here...are a few.
This is just a tiny snippet.
Visited with her Lawyer...this morning, we decided...
Jerri's Estate Sale, should be scheduled for December 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Jerri's Grandson...is still living there, and that would give him, and us...ample time.

This is going to be a Lovely...Sale, just...like Jerri.
She...was such a Wonderful...Fun loving...Soul.

Every Old...Cupboard, is Full.
Jerri...Loved her Treasures.

There's a Basement...Main Floor, Upstairs...and Full....Attic.
Loads on both Porch's as well.
Garden Items.
Lots, and Lots.

I...was taken back...by the Beautiful Rose, that Jessica, Jerri's Wonderful Neighbor, told me, Jerri's late...and Also...Wonderful...
Husband, Keith...had planted for Jerri, many years ago.

Jessica said it's Bloomed Three Times, this year.
Priceless.

The Sale....will be located about 30 minutes West, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Sizin' Up...'The Tables'
The last week...has been quite insane.
Don't remember...looking back, when....'Insanity'...hasn't ruled.
oh my.

Got the Green Light....on Jerri's Estate Sale, from her Lawyer....
yesterday.
Jerri's Estate...is like none I've ever seen, or worked...before.
She understood that, I know.

Heading there...this morning, to assess the situation.
Seems...every day, I feel like I'm walking up to the Pool Tables....
of 'Life'.
Many.
{I'm not a 'Pool Player'...I play Pool for fun, now and then...
but, the Good Pool Players,
walk up to the Table...
after the Break...
size up...every Ball, try to imagine...
where they're All going to Land....
before they shoot.
I'm a 'slop' shooter, when it comes to 'Pool'
'Life', and 'Business'...
That's a different story.}
Playing on 'One' Table...in Life...
is difficult, but....
Playing on Three, or Four...at the same time, is....
Challenging.
Very.

Like Jerri, I'm sure Grateful...for Our Lord.

{Polly Ann's Mt.Vernon, Iowa}

It's gonna be difficult, on so many levels.
Just...walking inside her Home, today...for the first time, since she left us....
is going to be difficult, for myself...and Pal, Bill.
We, truly...thought, Jerri would be here for her Sale.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.
I've not written about the upcoming Living Estate Sale, for a very sad reason.
My Friend, Jerri's 'Living' Estate Sale...
will...sadly be, an
'Estate Sale'.
Jerri passed away, September 29th.
Her Services were October 4.
We were rushing to get Bill's Dad's Living Estate Sale pulled together,
it was shocking news, when Jerri's Dear...Neighbor, Bill...called me, and told me of Jerri's passing.
I had to sit down.
I wasn't prepared...to hear what Bill...was telling me.

Neighbor, Bill...and his Daughter, Jessica...have been far more, than 'Neighbors', to Jerri.
They....were Angels, to her.
May God Bless...Them.

Jerri, was a wonderful...funny, quick thinking...high spirited, Faithful...Woman.
She was Loved...by Many.
I've attended many Funerals, in my life...
but, have never seen a Reverend choke up...
break down, in tears, during Services.
The Reverend, obviously...'Knew'...Jerri.

Visited with Jerri's Attorney, last week.
He's handling Jerri's estate.
I'm hoping, we'll be able to carry out Jerri's last wishes, on schedule.
Should know more...in the next few days.
Jerri, was so looking forward to this sale.

She...wanted to See...people 'Love' her possessions, collections...like she had.
Jerri said... "I want to watch Face's Light Up...like I know...mine, did, while finding these pieces."
Jerri wanted to visit...with Friends, who would be attending, and meet new Folks, and tell stories, of where everything came from.
Share...her Treasures.

I've never known Anyone...who had the incredible mindset, when facing the end...of 'this' Journey, like Jerri.
{I truly...thought, 'Hoped'...she'd hold on...to see her sale come to fruition.
We all...did. }
Jerri, inspired.
I'd wanted to post...about Jerri's passing, right away, but...we had to get through Bob's Sale.
My heart has been heavy, since Neighbor, Bill...shared this difficult news, along with many others.
As soon as I hear from Jerri's Lawyer, I'll let you know the details.
Jerri had a Close Relationship...with The Lord.
That was Evident.

Elberon Fall Fest...was Wonderful.
Elberon is a tiny little Town, in Tama County, Iowa.
but, oh my....
It's BIG, on so many Levels.

This was the second Fall Fest, to raise money...for their Library.
It was Great!
Thanks to So Many... who Donated, Generously...
and to Those...who bought raffle tickets.
{The 'Basket' with Raffle Tickets, was overflowing. }
The Children...All, had Much Fun.

There were, I'd guess...around 200 people, that attended, but...there were Many More, who...Kindly...donated, for the Cause.

This little Town, really works hard, for The Community.

It was A Lot...of Work for them, I know.
