Allyson brought some Very Cool Treasures!! Many Darling Vintage Bunnies, Too!!
Got a bit later start than I'd planned, this morning. My back is not, not... Not, good.
Pal, Dale.... graciously offered to help me load, and drove to Des Moines to help unload.
'Family'.
Grateful.
Took a long, hot bath tonight, so hopefully... I'll be in better shape tomorrow.
Gads.
As I'd written, concerning Events, over the last several years, there hasn't been One, when IDOT, and, or Fairfax... hasn't stepped on my groove.
Yep, Lawyer Meardon texted today. He's received our public records request back from IDOT.
2800 Pages.
Looks like I'm going to be doing some reading.
Fairfax sent us a Mountain of public records, the first time Lawyer Meardon requested them, a couple years ago.
There were Many, Many.... Duplicates.
Oh my.
Wonder how many I'm going to find in the 2800 from IDOT.
Can't wait to see Fairfax's latest request.
Actually, I believe we've waited long enough. I'll be reaching out to Mayor Beer, and Clerk Stimson, Monday... find out what the Hold Up is.
Oh dear.
Fairfax charged us nearly double what IDOT did, this time.
Wonder if there's going to be close to 6000 pages from Fairfax???
Originally, Fairfax wanted to charge us over 7,000. for our public records request.
{Yes... $7,000.
I asked to be put on the agenda concerning their estimate, Fairfax refused to allow me on the agenda. Said I could speak at the end of the meeting, for a few minutes. There was no way I could address 'this' in 3 to 4 minutes. }
{Not shocking, coming from Fairfax,Iowa, City Hall, after all, they fined me 104,000 for having 6 Chickens and an Old Tom Turkey, after I fought against Fairfax's and IDOT's Highway 151 Suicide Bike Trail that ultimately has turned us into a Flooding Pit/Basin.
Lawyer Meardon had a chat with Fairfax's lawyer concerning the 'fees'. Fairfax reduced the bill to a little over 700.
Oh... my.
