Oh my, while tweaking my blog. I took off the 'word verification', for the comments, not good! It was kind of funny, tho... I was immediately hit with a porn sight comment... Do those gals really think they are sexy? Hmmm... I about hit the floor, I was laughing so hard! Then I got another one... Oh my... Girls, girls... So, I corrected that, and back to the word verification... I know it's a pain, when you leave a comment, but trust me... we are all better off... I am still being faithful to my morning work out, a little at a time... Rome wasn't built in a day, nor the destruction of it! Patience has never been on of my virtue's, I want this baggage off NOW!!! Oh well... Pal Robin, inquired about butter stamps, so I am showing you a selection... I love this part of our history, Farm, and Farm life... Back in the day, everyone had a Milk Cow... some had many, and would sell and trade milk, cream and butter, at the Dry Goods Store, or with neighbors, who had calves, and needed the milk for them. You could purchase a mold, or stamp, to set yours apart, or make one... They are made in many shapes and sizes, here are a few, from my collection.... Happy Trails! Barb C.

Thanks for the history lesson. I always just assumed they were to just make their butter "pretty" while entertaining. I like your explaination better!! :)
