Crazy... Crazy, weekend.
oh my.
Had a wonderful, Long, Long... time Pal, stop by... Sunday afternoon.
: )
Oh my.
<3
We've known each other... what seems like, Forever.
I captured an image of the two of us...
then, later... compared Sunday's image, to one we had taken...about 12 years ago, during a special... Dinner.
: )
oh my.
So Many... Many Miles Back.
Many 'lifetimes'.
We were both, different people...
then.
So.... remember sharing that Dinner with her.
; )
We'd agreed after we both could Slow Down, and Get Off The Damned Road, we'd get all Slicked Up, go to The Lighthouse Supper Club, have a Fabulous Supper, and take in the Wonderful...
Live Jazz, The Lighthouse always had on Saturday Nights.
; )
{Sadly... The Lighthouse Supper Club burned to the ground,
on August 14, this year. Heartbreaking. }
: (..............
We Were Both... Beyond Whipped, from being on the road.
but...
oh my, what a Great Gift... we treated ourselves to, that night.
; )
In the image... we both looked so....
'We Got This'.
; ) ; )
Hahahahahahahahaha!!!
{If We Only Knew... what was heading our way. oh my. : ) }
Sunday's image of us, was very interesting.
My Pal... looked like, she had...
'The Eye of The Tiger'!!
: ) : ) : )
me...
on the other hand,
I had...
raised eyebrows....
furrowed brow,
questioning...
half grin,
like...
"seriously.... what's next??
and...
do ya really....really... want ta 'go'... 'there' with me???
; )
I don't think so... 'Scooter'. ; )"
oh dear.
; )
Hahahahahahahaha!!!!
After my Dear... Pal, left... I went to El Paraiso, Mexican Restaurant, where Bud, Renate... and me, used to so enjoy.
It was chilly, where we liked to sit... outside, on the patio.
The patio was closed, but...
had The Sweetest Server,
she let me sit at 'Our' table, on the patio.
; )
<3
Knew... I had to face El Paraiso, or never return.
Ordered everything Bud Loved.
<3
then...
melted into a pool of goo.
Hadn't done that... yet.
knew...
it was coming.
It had to.
{So Grateful... to That Lovely Server. ; ) <3 }
<3 <3 <3
Justin J... helped haul load's from a Friend's Sisters' home, last week, and yesterday.
: )
Very Cool Things.
I'll be busy cleaning, and getting things in order this week.
It's So CRAZY Windy... today, there's no way... I'll be working outside.
The Wind... oh my, when it behaves like This, it's So Incredibly...
UNSETTLING!!
: (
GADS!!!!
: (
Speaking of
'Unsettling'.
: (
Another 'accident' on the 151 Bridge, that adjoins our land, in Fairfax, just before 7 a.m. this morning.
Was up, and taking images... long before light.
It appears everyone is ok.
<3 <3 <3
Great Place... for a Bike Trail, Fairfax.... and IDOT.
: ( : ( : (...........
The Mayor, true to her word... got back to me yesterday, but...
not with the answers to the questions... I'd asked her for.
: (
It's so incredibly sad, that I can't seem to Ever... get a Straight Answer, and... how Hush, Hush... and Secretive City Hall, seems to be.
Always... so secretive.
: (
I don't get it.
: (
How Many, Many... Times, have I been told there is 'No Trail', by both Fairfax, and IDOT, yet...
: (
Sure wish Fairfax, and IDOT would've conducted a Safety Study, or a Feasibility Study, would've been conducted concerning this Highway 151 Fairfax Bike Trail.
They both refused, when I begged them, way back in the day.
Before.... Lawyer Meardon, was involved.
Millions, and Millions... and Millions of Dollar's could've been saved.
{and So Much More, in my opinion. Time... sadly, will tell. : ( }
There's MORE Spending, {Millions, and Millions} and Property Loss... coming, concerning 'Fairfax's 151 Bike Trail', this... time, it won't just be me, and another Neighbor, it's going to Cost Many, in my opinion, on so many levels.
Land... and Dollars.
: (
Flooding, I'm guessin'... like us, too.
: (..............
{oh dear... a lightbulb just Lit, in my brain. : )
Wow... don't know why I couldn't 'see' it 'before'.}
hmmmmmmm.
Had many, many... images from the weekend saved to the draft of this post, but... Blogger wouldn't let me post them, this morning.
Maybe... a good thing.
; )
I'll save 'em for 'The Book'.
Love to Ya...
Prayers for All.
