Headaches.
Another paperwork...
phone calls...
e-mails...
'day'.
It was ruff... today.
Woke up with a migraine headache this morning.
Haven't had one... since I was 9 years old.
Started getting them when I was about 7, they were so severe
had to stay in bed, in a dark... dark room, sometimes for two days.
Couldn't eat, drink... tolerate any noise, or touch.
I'd get incredibly nauseous with them.
Migraine's aren't a 'headache'.
They're Hell.
Mom took me to many specialists... even had an EEG when I was 9.
They couldn't figure them out... and really didn't have anything they could prescribe,
for relief, back then, since I was so young.
then...
at 9...
just grew out of them, I guess.
Remember when I was having them so often, I could tell... when one was coming on.
When I'd look at certain things, I'd see something like heatwaves on a highway.
When I'd see that, knew... the next day or two were going to be miserable.
Didn't have the luxury, if there is such a thing, with a migraine, of staying in bed, today.
Way too much to get done.
but...
I was 'Off'.
Especially this morning.
Informed everyone I had to communicate with...
that I wasn't firing on all cylinders.
Still not.
Having to use spellcheck, a bunch.
Gratefully... have Aleve, to help out.
Doesn't make it all go away, but... at least I can form sentences.
Sorta.

I wouldn't wish a migraine on my worst enemy.
Pal, Dale... used to work, and carpool... with a Friend, at Amana, that got them so severe...
she'd be down for days... and days.
: (....
There's no getting away from them... when they hit.
Sure hope I'm not growing back into them.
Hoping it's just stress related, 'that'... will eventually go away.

Paperwork...
many, many... phone calls, visits and e-mail exchanges.
Visited Fairfax, Iowa... City Hall, three times today.
oh boy.

Still enjoying going through old Blog images.

Heading out to sign the contract for an Estate Sale, that will be held in mid January.

I'm puttin' my feet up.

Ran across these IDOT Construction images.
The IDOT crushed a tile, that led to the basement flooding.
Had to get Kenway {Septic People} here, to locate the tile.
I was so worried that the IDOT construction Dude was going to go over where I'd just paid to have the crushed clay tile... located, so I put the little concrete Cross by Kenway's green mark, so the driver could see it.
I asked the driver to avoid it, as we'd had to locate the tile they'd crushed, for my basement to drain.
Turned, and walked away, then... looked back... watched him run over it all.

I Frantically ran for Son, Justin.
{Gratefully... he was still here. <3 {Bear, too. <3}
Guess I should've had Justin... warn the Dude, about steering clear of the Cross.
He may have heard Justin... better.
Justin rescued my little concrete Cross.
