Picked up a letter from Fairfax, City Hall... that I had to sign for.

It's concerning the West Cemetery Road Bridge, and... Bike Trail.

oh... my.

basically...

further 'Condemnation' of our land, in my opinion.

Exactly... 6 Years to The Day, of the below IDOT/Fairfax...

'Memory'.

They say... they'll only be asking for a 'temporary easement'.

That's Laughable, to me.

I've asked The Mayor, and The City's Hired engineer, repeatedly, 

"How will our land be impacted by this project?"

They've... Danced around that question, over and over, in e-mail...after e-mail.

What I hear from City Hall, and Hall and Hall Engineering,

are...

Crickets... Crickets... Crickets.

{In my Heart...

 I don't blame our Mayor. <3 

She's, I've been told, and witnessed,

 'despised' by most of 'City Hall'. : ( 

Mayor Beer, is trying to do everything by the book.

Be Fair, to All.

 Fairfax, Iowa... City Hall, 

in my humble opinion, isn't used to that. : ( }

I've begged for the topography survey of our land, I allowed Hall and Hall Engineering to conduct, over a year ago...

for Months, and Months...

but, the City, and Hall and Hall... refuse to share.

Our Attorney, Charles Meardon... had to send out a 'Request'... for them, and a bunch More...

He thought we should 'See'.

{May God Bless... That Man. Beyond... Grateful for Him.}

It's Really Sad, that... I have to lean so hard, on a Lawyer, when...

Those that we should be able to Trust...

City, and State... 

employed... 

people, 

elected....

 'people' 

who... are supposed to be looking out for 'Us', 

are looking...

 'Away'.

Sadly... I believe... they might be as naive, as John, and I... once were, while dealing...

 for the first time, with The Iowa Department of Transportation, {IDOT} 

in the mid 1990's.
