oh my....

had to visit the Oral Surgeon today.

oh dear. 

I knew this day...'visit'...was coming, known it.... for a few years,

yet, it seemed shocking... when the tooth broke off, on Sunday.

It wasn't a good day. 

This one... has left much to me desired...as well.

It could have been worse, : )... but... let's say, this wasn't a 'pleasant'...day.

: ) 

I'm so Grateful... for Dear Friend... who, somehow.... seems to know, or get a 'wink'...

when all heck is going to Break Loose.... and gives me a Leaning Post.

What an Amazing...Gift, she has been... in my life.

This was quite an extensive journey, and...was very intrusive.

Many... sutures. 

Very... Painful.. 

{I actually took an entire pill, it's a stout one... 

usually, I'll take none, or half of one. 

It's not enough. }

I was at the Oral Surgeon's.... for over 3 hours.

I go to the College of Dentistry, in Iowa City.

It's a wonderful place... and, much more affordable.

{not inexpensive....but, 'doable'. }

I did get some bad news....

my blood pressure, is way too high.

They took it three times...over 3 hours...

and, it's way... too high. 

they almost didn't do the procedure.

{it's much higher, than it was last year... when I had another extraction I was pushin' it... then.}

I've been taking a supplement... that, I think... may be part of it.

So... better diet... quit smoking... lose weight... take it easy on the 'toddies'...

oh, and manage.... the 'stress'....

Before the 'Numbness'... wore off, I decided to hit a Second Hand Shop....

in Iowa City.

I, so rarely get there, anymore.

Found the Beautiful...HUGE... Platter, above, with a matching Vegetable Tureen... from the first part of the 1900's.

and...

a pair.... of Second Generation, Hitchcock Chairs... from the 1940's....

that have their original maker's stencil.

They were marked, only....25.00 each.

They match our chairs... around the old Harvest Table...

when I went to pay, I found out... they were 75% off.

Cool!

I gathered a box, full.... of Old...Gnarliness, then... headed for the Grocery Store.

Got that job done... came home... put things away.... did a little cleaning...

then....

the Novocain.... started to wear off.

oh my....

It's gonna be a long...day or two. 

It always...make things better... when, after you've been through the Mill, at the Dr,'s or Dentist's...

you can do a little 'Junkin'. : ) 

to me... it's just as Good, as any Pill. : )

{Too bad the Shops aren't Open at 3 a.m., when things like 'this'...Really get to Poundin'! }
