Down for The Count... today.
: (
Woke up this morning, with a sharp pain under my shoulder blade.
With every move...
every step...
and every breath...
feels like
I'm Being Stabbed In The Back!!
Gads!!!
: (
{Understandable... had I attended the Fairfax, Iowa... City Council Meeting last night,
but...
I
hadn't.}
Pretty sure I just slept WRONG.
Way Wrong!!
; )
{Despise that 'Custom Mattress'. : ( }
I've been stretching... as much as I can, trying to pull the muscles loose.
Gads.
While gimpin'... this morning, feeding The Critters, and watering The Plants,
especially...
the Huge Rosemary Plant, Pal, Bill... helped me rescue from frost, last Fall.
I'd planted it behind The Rabbit Hole, in a Huge Concrete Urn, last Spring.
It had a Good Summer of Growth.
; )
We put old burlap in an early Bushel Basket....
then, gently... removed the Massive Rosemary Bush from the Urn, to the waiting Basket.
Added a little more soil, to help The Rosemary... comfortably rest in the Burlap.
I had no idea if The Rosemary would survive... but, it was Certain, it would not...
if I didn't bring it inside... and 'Try'.
<3
Placed The Rosemary... beside the... Mission Buffet, in the Dining Room...
on a Huge Staffordshire Platter,
{to catch moisture from the basket}
that's resting on the tray of an Old... Highchair, in front of the East... picture window.
<3
I keep a close eye on The Rosemary, concerning the moisture.
Check it every morning.
It dries out so fast.
Have to give it a Drink... every two, to three days.
A BIG Drink!!
{ : ) }
I've never had much of a Green Thumb, but... do my best.
this morning....
while checking The Rosemary's soil, for moisture...
noticed little Flowers...
Blooming!!!
<3 <3 <3
Looked it up online, when The Rosemary should be blooming, and... what it means.
'Spring'...
and, means...
It's 'Happy'.
<3 <3 <3
: )
Precious!!!
<3
Made
My
Day!!
: )
{Pain... and All!! : ) <3}
I've struggled with my decision to Not attend last night's Council Meeting.
: )
trust me...
I could've gotten a portion of my questions, and concerns... across the podium,
concerning
Fairfax's
'Public Records'
request
in a few short minutes.
oh...
my.
; )
but...
it comes to mind, over, and over...
as well,
something...
Lawyer Meardon once said...
long, ago.
It was very close to the Winston Churchill quote...
below.
{Wise Men}
"You will never reach your destination...
if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks."
Indeed.
Love to Ya...
Prayers for All.
