{That's the danger of  listening to 'Gray Noise', when trying to get to sleep.

was a Jon Meacham interview, from 3 years ago.

I'm ashamed to say... but I will, I've heard his name over the years, but... never 'knew' who he was/is.

About 3 a.m., I began learning a whole bunch...

 about Mr. Meachum, and our Country's History.

John... was a Very Cool Cat.

He... preferred to stay behind the lines.

I remember, long ago... during a 'sale' here, Polly... from Polly Ann's in Mt Vernon, told me she'd bumped into John.

When John told her, who... he was, Polly said...

"He Does Exist!!"
