'God's Country'.

Whipped up some of Mom's Raspberry, Peach... Banana Jello, last night,

 making a Big Batch of my 

Famous Baked Beans...

this morning.

; )

They're like eating...

Candy!!

Candy... with Two Pounds of Smoked Bacon!!

{onions, dark brown sugar...  molasses, a little mustard, a little garlic...

and a little... more.}

Hahahahahahahaha!!

They're kind of a Trick... to make.

I make them on the Stove... in a Big... Old Cast Iron Scotch Bowl.

Once the bacon, and onions are sauteed... in a little butter, add the Dark Brown Sugar...

let that melt down... then,

 the beans...

{I use several cans of Bush's Vegetarian Baked Beans, for some reason, they always seem to be the best 'Starter' 

??

I've tried others, but... not quite the same.}

 then...

Dark...

'MOLASSES'

Joins The Party!!

: ) : ) : )

then....

gently

stir, and stir... and stir... and stir...

until it

reduces

down

to

a

THICK 

Wonderment!!

The 

'Trick'...

is too keep 'gently' stirring from the bottom up...

 constantly... slowly....

on a low flame...

so they don't

 Burn!!

; )

With All of That 'Sugar'...

well, 

they can burn, pretty easy.

; )

but...

 They are Well Worth

 the

Time...

and

Effort!!

Many People who don't like 'Baked Beans'... have been Converted, with

These Beans!!

; )

{they're almost...

'sinful'.}

; )
