A long time Neighbor reached out to me... yesterday, concerning some Vintage, and Antique items she needed values for, and... advise on where to take some of them.

Paid her a visit, today.
Gave her my best advise, and... hopefully, pointed her in the Best....
Direction.

Her Son, and mine... are about the same age. 40ish.
They went to school together.
Just learned today, her Son... had suffered a stroke a while back, and is residing with her.
It's a Miracle... he survived the horrible brain bleed.
He was hospitalized for a long, long... time.
Amazingly... he's doing quite well, for All he's been through.

This is our Land... on the N.E. Side, Standing on West Cemetery Road, looking at Highway 151, and the Highway 151 Bridge 'Before' IDOT came through with Fairfax's Bike Trail Accommodations.
The Old... 151 Bridge, is where the tree line ends.
The Large Building across 151 is 'EIB', a business.
Above is 'After'.
Note the 'Elevation', and 'Encroachment'
Can't see much of the 'EIB' Building anymore.
Wonder what the purpose was... for IDOT to Raise That 151 Highway Bridge so TALL???
Wonder... why, IDOT had to Encroach so Deeply to the West???

I'm not an Engineer, but... have repeatedly... respectfully, disagreed with him.

Does the intersection with Highway 151 look 'Crooked', or... misaligned to you??

redid... 151.

They didn't change that intersection with the recent Project, just added a Right Turn Lane.
