The House is all cleaned out.
Seems... with every 'Sale'... I learn something.
Jo Ann's Sale.. was different, but... they all... are.
Don't know if it's because of the Sale... the Full Moon... the fast approaching Summer Solstice...

attending way too many Fairfax, Iowa... Council Meetings, standing in the same room, for hours...
with people who, in my opinion... have treated us beyond wrong,
with the help of The Iowa Department of Transportation...

When I checked on The Fish, yesterday...
he, like most of us...
'These Days'....
wasn't quite right.

He seemed very 'Restless'.

Gave him some of his favorite treats, which... he ignored.

turned the hose on...
filled his Pool, with some cool water, which... he seemed to enjoy.

Was trying to figure out his age, again... as I sat next to his Pool.
He's got to be at least... 16 years old.
Rescued him, and two others... from Walmart.
They were about an inch long.

I'd just lost my Favorite Fish, who just showed up... one, very Ugly... Christmas afternoon,
when I escaped to The Rabbit Hole, to get away from
EVERYONE.

I was cleaning Pine twigs... from the Big Fountain, jumped back... when I saw 'something' move.... in the water.
GADS!!!
It was a tiny brown minnow, that grew up to be a Beautiful Koi.

He was such a Gift... that Christmas!!
I was so blue.
Finding that little Minnow, oh my.

When he passed away... wasn't going to get anymore Fish.
Worry about them in the Winter... should the tank heater quit, or... we lose power.

Biscotti would come to us, when we scratched on the Paul Bunyan Cupboard's surface.

The old Tea Cup, had a big chip in it... just the right size for a door, for Biscotti.

We'd feed him all sorts of Treats... but he Loved... biscotti.
