Never a Dull... Moment.

Worked on 'Books', today... for a bit.
Should've went to the store, but...
didn't.

Miss. Peanut... has developed a slight cough, over the last couple of days.
It's more of a quiet 'huff', now and then... than a cough.
Caught her with a piece of tinsel in her mouth, yesterday...
: (
She'll eat Anything, she finds on the floor.
: (
Have to be so careful.

That... Freaked me Out!!
: (

Tinsel, and Critters, do 'Not Mix'.
but...
 felt I got it all.
After hearing her 'huff', a little, today...
my gear's were turning.
; (

Called our Beloved Vet, Dr. Meester.
{La Porte City, Vet Clinic}

I'd just missed Dr. Meester, he'd went home for the day.
Left my number, with his Awesome Gal, she said he'd be calling in the morning.
; )

Dr. Meester is a Large, and small.... Critter, Vet.
<3
He's Amazing.
Works SO HARD.
Gads!!!

I've seen Dr. Meester pull in at his Clinic, after dealing with 'Livestock', he, and his Truck...
Both...
covered in mud, and manure....
 looking,
 Totally... Exhausted.
: (

{I remember... having to 'pull calves' in the Spring of the year.
Tuff, and Stressful job. : (
Can't Begin to Imagine, what a Country Vet, has to Deal with, daily, and... nightly.}
: (

He deals with Cattle, and Hogs... in the afternoon, and works with small Critters, in the early mornings, and some Evenings.
at least... that's what he used to do.
He's so Incredibly Caring.
; )

There's Something... about a Vet, who cares for All Animals, Large... and small.
'Farm Vets'.

They are Rare...
these days.
<3

The Farm Vets... I've worked with... throughout my entire life, have So Much Common Sense.
They... Understand, Critter's do Best, with their 'Pack', in their Home Environment.
I know... a lot of Folk's aren't willing, or able... to 'Nurse' Critter's at Home.
Clean wounds, flush... and pack... wounds, give antibiotics... injections, and 'more',
but...
from the time I was about 10, or 12...
 having Horses,
 day old... Calves...
baby Pigs...
 more.
 than that,
 I... always bought,
 'brought'
 'Home'...
the
 'Runts'.
<3

The ones, that... so many gave up on.
The ones, many... Farmer's often thought should be 'knocked in the head',
because... time, is money, and...
those 'runt's' weren't worth the expense.

so...
had to learn how to Treat, and Care... for them, as much as I could, on site.

Grateful... for The Farm Vet's who took the 'time' to Teach me, how to Care for them, at home.
; )
Not BIG Stuff, like 'Only a Vet Can Do',
but...
The Basics.
<3

It wasn't an hour, after I left my number with Dr. Meester's Clinic, that he called me, from
'Home'.
: )
<3

"Dr. Meester!!! Sure Didn't Expect a Call from You... Today!!"
{he sounded exhausted... : ( }

I said...
"do ya know 'who' you're talkin' too???"

oh my.
: )

Dr. Meester, replied....
"Oh, Yes... tell me, what's goin' on?"
: )

Spelled Everything Out, to Dr. Meester.
Every concern, about Miss. Peanut's 'behavior'.

We have a Plan.
I'm watchin' her.
Feeding her Cooked Squash, and... hoping, if...
Peanut ate any tinsel, it'll find it's way out... soon.
; )

Dr. Meester didn't think the 'huff', was 'related'.
I'm hoping he's right.
; )

Like, Lawyer... Meardon,
Dr. Meester, most always,
 Is.
: )
Grateful, For Them Both,
over the last
Many...
Years.
; )

<3 <3 <3
Pollyanna.
<3

Dr. Meester, looked after Polly, her entire life.
<3
Dr. Meester, took 'Care' of Polly, after a man...
 walked inside our Home,
uninvited, during an 'event'... here,
because,
 'he stated'....
"I saw some cool things... in the window, and wanted to go inside."

oh my.

Pollyanna, said...

"I don't think so...
 Scooter."
<3
; )

Polly, 'escorted' the man, to 'The Door'.
with
a
'Tap'.
; )

Pollyanna, was half...
 German Shepherd,
 and half...
American Staffordshire Terrier.
<3
'Family', on Both Sides.
; )

Polly was 'Put in Jail'... after protecting our Home.
: (
I... negotiated...
her
 'Jail'
'confinement'.
<3

Polly spent her 'Wrongful Time', in the Loving Arm's, of Dr. Meester, and His Clinic.
: )
'Family'

Pollyanna, Loved Her Family.
<3 <3 <3

Love to Ya...
Prayers for All.
