Before working at The Estate, yesterday...
looked at some things... someone I hold Very Dear, needs moved.
He's...
'Downsizing', of sorts.
It was the most difficult 'consult'... I've ever done.
I've helped Many, over the years...
with this kind of 'Move'.
This one... was different.
{I was perplexed... and frustrated... by it all.}

After measuring... the new 'space', and measuring...
what I so am in Hopes, we can somehow... make work, in the much smaller space.
well...
It's been Workin' on me.
Captured many images, yesterday... of the Furnishings, and the 'new' space.
{I'm 'The Queen' of putting 10 Pound's of Sugar, in a 5 Pound Sack,
and...
still,
Make It Feel Like 'Home'.

Ask Anyone that's visited The Rabbit Hole, or visited the
'Simply Iowa' Booth, at a Show. : ) }
I'm going to ask Pal, Steph... and Pal, Bill....
to take a look at the situation, before 'The Move'.
When Folks 'downsize', I always advise them to sort, and pick out the things that mean
The Most
to them.
Make two piles.
One... with things that Truly hold Fond Memories,
and...
One, with things that... they'd be ok with, maybe... letting go of.
{That's often a Very Difficult Task. : (}
I don't recommend Folks put things 'in storage', it's ok, if they 'need' to.
but...
so often, I've seen...
Folk's get trapped with a storage unit.
'Out of Sight... out of mind'.
yet...
It will cost thousands of dollars in no time, to store.
'Downsizing'...
is not easy.

When Folks are Shuffled into a smaller space, I... personally feel,
that smaller space...
should
'feel'
Familiar,
like...
'Home'
as much as it can.
