While visiting with Jon, Alice's Husband,
{Alice's Wonderland, Mt. Vernon, Iowa}
at JJJ,
over the weekend, he shared a story with me,
from when he, and Alice, had first moved to Iowa, long ago.

Jon, said... his Boss, at the Company he worked for, was sharing a story with him, about a Neighbor... he knew, who likes similar things, that Jon's Wife, Alice... was in to.
Jon's Boss... said,
"This Girl can take what looks like a pile of trash, to most... and turn it into something incredible."

Jon's Boss, was referring to me.
Jon's 'Boss', was one of my John's closest Friends, and our Neighbor,
Mark Prable.

The Gal, said...
"Hi, do you buy old cupboards??? I have one that's kind of rough.
Ken Harrington told me to call you, because the only criteria you consider....
when buying an old cupboard is...

She's been such a Blessing.

Unless... it's 'Happened' to you, I don't believe...

While at the hotel... over the weekend,
sat down and visited with a homeless Woman, over breakfast.
She was staying at our hotel.
Guessing she had vouchers, that paid partially for her stay.
She's trying to find a place to rent.
The Woman told me, she lost her Home, recently...
{Bought it when she was 19}
She's 58 years old, was picked up several times for OWI, turned into a felony...
she... got clean, but lost everything in the process.
Now, that she has a felony conviction, she's pushed to the bottom of the list, for a rental home.
{1,200. a month rent is the going rate, in Des Moines, she told me.}
There's SO Many... that are Hurting, today...
my Heart Aches, and... I get Really Pissed Off, at myself, for not being able to
'Find The Good'.
