'Family'

Still having FUN...
looking back at the Blogger images.
: )

Feel extremely Grateful, as I glide through them.
<3

Below are just a few... images... of
'Family'.
<3

The Loads... oh my.
; )
Adventures.

I tried to not get John 'involved'... in my Escapades.
: )
John... was a Homebody.
<3
My 'Gig'... Wanderlust.... wasn't his.
Hahahahaha!!
John didn't care about my Escapades... as long as he didn't have to be 'involved'!!
Hahahahaha!!
Remember John standing in front of his Shop... as I was pulling in, at Home...
one Evening....
The Ford, Loaded.... I mean, LOADED.
{imagine... that.}
: )
John just stood there, smokin' a Lucky.... shaking his head...and said...
"The Gypsy is Home."
then, he turned and walked away.
: )
Hahahahahahaha!

Got John 'involved' with the above... Duwa Auction Load.
So glad... he was.
Love the image of John on The Top of The Heap!!
; )
Love... having an image of The little Purple Ford.
<3

That little 4 cylinder 5 speed Ford Ranger,
 Built... The Rabbit Hole.
<3
Dear Lord... The LOAD'S It Carried, before John built The Flatbed Ford, for me.

Wanda, and Terry.
{Gatherings, Anamosa, Iowa}
The Ladies, in front...

It's been so long ago.
: (

15 years... maybe??

<3

left to right....
Pal, Jeff... then The 'Dude'... I bought the COOL Cupboard from, in Minnesota, on our way to Gold Rush...
and,
Dear, Dear... Pals,
'Farmer Friends'
Lea, and Lynn.
<3

Lynn and Lea, noticed the Wonderful Old Cupboard, in The 'Dude's' building, but...
The Dude said, it wasn't for sale.
: (
I... kept pestering him, asked if he Were to Sell it, what kind of a Price,
he'd be happy with.
: )
???
: )
He thought about it...
for a minute, or two...
then,
threw a number out.
; )

"DONE."
; )
if...
he wanted to sell it.
; )

The FUSO was Beyond Full, so...
The Dude helped us strap it to the back of The Truck.
: )

Lynn, Lea... and I.... have sure shared some Fun Times.
oh my.
<3

<3

Peg and I found the Big Concrete Fountain, at a landfill.
We couldn't leave it.
No Way!!
Don't know HOW she and I loaded it...
but, By God... We Did!!
; )
I called Pal, Dale... to help us get it inside.
; )
Oh JOY!!!
: )

Load out of Dubuque.
HUGE Barn Dormers... and More!!!

Don't recall the Gentleman's name,
: (

Antiques!!

A True Inspiration!!
; )

Load from The Banowetz Auction, in Maquoketa, Iowa.
BIG Auction!!

Don't recall why, that day... but I'd pulled Jethro off of Highway 30, onto the shoulder....
 about 40 miles from home.
Possibly... to take a call.
; )

All of a sudden, I looked over, and... there's Pal, Bart!!
: )

He spotted Jethro, and thought we might be in trouble.
<3
What are The Chances of Bart... 'happening' by??
Priceless.
We've been Pals, for at least 30 years.
He's a Good Guy!!
; )

Steph... and me, after a Long... Hot... Day.
; )

We made a pact that day...
that after the first of the year, we were going to treat ourselves to a
Night Out, at The Lighthouse Supper Club.
{If... we Survived The Last Leg of The Year. : ) }

We Made It!!
: )

Lovely night, listening to Live Jazz, and enjoying a Wonderful
meal.
The Lighthouse is gone, now... it burned to the ground, last year.
: (

Have so many... Fond Memories, of it.
When 'The Boys', Ed...and Michael,
 {Leftovers Antiques, Brenham, Texas}
would come visit...
we'd often go there.

: )

Such a Treat.

Patti, {Fern Hill, South Amana, Iowa}
Linda... and Steph.

Pal, Val.
<3

I've known Val... Forever.
; )
She was Always willing to lend a Hand.
She's moved away... but, we still chat, every now and then.
<3

Dear Donna.
<3
Donna was my 7th. Grade Teacher, at Roosevelt.
<3
We lost touch with one another, for many years...
then, learned she was married to Don, Vice Pres, at Fairfax, Bank.
<3
Oh My!!
Donna, is one of Two... Favorite Teachers in my life.
: )
We've remained Good Friends, over many decades.
She's... been so Incredibly supportive, concerning the Fairfax/IDOT mess.
<3
She even attended a city council meeting with me.
: )
{Painful}
<3

Heart of Country, in Nashville.
<3
Two... of the Massive Barn Dormers... went to Nashville.
Daughter, Liz... hauled them, along with Much More... on The Flatbed Ford, that year.
; )

The Porter's... were Always so kind, there.
<3
They worried about us 'Iowa' Girls.
: ) : ) : )

If they noticed we were in an awkward position...
They'd Come Runnin'!!!
Hahahahahaha!!!
We were so used to doing everything on our own, it never occurred to us to ask for help.
I think we made them  a little nervous.
; )
Hahahahahaha!!

I, remember... one time, when Pal, Colleen and I were unloading The FUSO, in Nashville,
a Porter walked up to us, and asked...
"Where are you Ladies from?"
We told him,
 'Iowa'.
He said...
"Oh... kinda figured you weren't from around here.
I've never seen Women work so Hard... in my life!"
Hahahahaha!!!
{I'm Not Pickin' on Girls from The South. Happen to know a few, who Bust Their Asses Too!!}

<3
She's been a Godsend over the years.

We've had some Fun.
: )

Pal, Bill... Bob, the Kind Man... we conducted a Sale for...
and, Gayle.
<3

I could go on, and on.
{Pal... Gail, isn't pictured, but... she's on my mind, while writing about
'Family' today.
 <3
Many, Many...

Indeed.
<3

My back is much, much... better, today.
Praise God!!
<3

Pal, Bill and I looked at The Hiawatha Estate, yesterday morning.
Super Nice Folks.
Lovely Home...
as soon as The Family takes what they want, we'll do a Final Walk-through.
If... there's enough for a Sale, we're looking at mid December dates.
We have one set... for mid January, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Can't believe we're heading into a New Year.
Looking at the images, oh my.
Time...
definitely
Marches...
 on.
