Took the day off, from working at 'The Racing Living Estate Sale', today.
Had so much to cover... here, at Home... before I can't, with the 'Sale'.

Worked Fast, and Furious...

'The Racing Living Estate Sale'...
today.
Had planned on getting there, very early... this morning.
Grandson Justin 'J'... was on board to help me, and Pal, Bill... move Mountains.
So much 'Big'... needed to be moved, so we could put tables up.
{Big Sale}
My phone rang, as I was eating breakfast...
Folks from Wisconsin were heading to The Rabbit Hole, to gather some concrete they'd spoken for about a month ago.
I was Scrambling... to make that meeting 'happen'.
{Always Shiftin' Gears!! : )}
I'd just taken the Dolly... {'Mover', 'Right Hand'} to The Estate, a couple days ago.

Movin' Concrete... without 'It', oh my.

Gratefully, Son, Justin... had a smaller version 'Dolly'... at the Shop.

{Box Truck}
driver's door.
Needed a pen.
I keep an 'Office' in the Cab... of That Truck.
Log Book, Receipt Books... Show Supplies.
Sadly, The FUSO's been down... for some time.

Can't find a replacement back door for it.

Before... During, and... After.
No matter what government entity you're dealing with, concerning
Any Acquisition of Land.
City, County... State... or Federal.
May never need them, if you're treated right,
Fairly,
but... if you're not, well...
a picture
paints

Thousand Words.
and,
in my... badly broken... humble opinion,
don't even... try to navigate any kind of
land acquisition agreements...
no matter how 'seemingly' small, according to 'Those', doing the 'Taking',

Another Snippet of The Racing Living Estate Sale!!
Spent much of yesterday afternoon...
working on 'The Racing Living Estate Sale'.
{N.E. Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
September 11 thru 14, 2025}

Virgil, the Gentleman who owns this Estate, loved his Caps!!
There must be 50 of them... with Cool Advertising!!

Sorted through a stack of them, then... found Another Huge Stack!!
Hahahahaha!!
Spent a couple hours sorting through Virgil's Office.
Have many hours... yet, to go.
We have to go through every single item.
We've found thousands of dollars... over the years... while combing through paperwork, and books... 'After' the Family said they'd been through 'Everything'.
In their defense...
it's easy to miss things,
{checks, bonds... policies... etcetera...}
that've been 'filed' in unusual places, or... inside stacks of paperwork, that appear to be mostly 'trash'.
It's incredibly overwhelming for Family, and Loved Ones, going through an Estate.
They... are often grieving, and... or... stretched to their limits from long time... 'Care' before...
they are forced to tackle an 'Estate', often... in a hurry.
That's why I keep telling Pal, Bill... 'We'... are going to have to tackle my 'Living Estate'.
Hahahahaha!!!

I wouldn't wish 'This'... on Anyone I Love.

It's often difficult for us, at times, going through someone's... 'Estate', even being far removed.
After going through their 'Lives'... we truly get to know them, tho, most of the time, we've never met.
