Busy afternoon, and evening... ahead.

Took a Cooooool Refreshing Bath, this morning.

Colored my hair, so... I don't look like an auburn haired

Skunk...

for a while.

Have a Dr.'s appointment this... early afternoon.

When I called for a refill on the asthma med I've been on since I was a teen,

my Saint of a Doc, thought I should come in, and... visit.

: )

It's been Two Years... he said,

 since our last 'visit'.

Seems, Time Truly Does Fly... 

When Your Havin' So Much.... Fun!!

Hahahahahahahaha!!!

Speakin' of 'Fun', Fairfax, Iowa... City Council Meeting, this evening.

I've been giving these 'sticking needles in my eyes'...

after reading of the day I/we... endured March of 2010,

{That Was Fun... to me. Gads!!}

'Have' to attend these meetings to protect our Land, and Our Backs, until things change... at City Hall.

Thought the cameras would help me stay away, sadly.... there's so much said, during the meetings, off the cuff, and out of order,

that really should be questioned at the time, otherwise... Ya can't question them at all.

Feel sorry for The Mayor.

{Sadly, some of the Council... and some of the 'Staff', in my opinion...

have been Unruly, and... tend to Bully... 'Push'... and 'Herd'... Folks, 

and... The Mayor.

 Again...in my opinion... with 'every' Mayor. Sadly.}

Grateful... for the camera.

Took us a Long, Long... time, and a 'New Mayor', to get a camera.

The Mayor called last week.

Seems the city is going to hire an off Duty Deputy to attend every public meeting.

That's a Great Idea.

Should've been doing that... long ago.

They actually did, back when The Chicken Fiasco was going on.

oh dear.

It's Amazing... how Passionate Several of our... 'then' Neighbors...

were, over Their Kid's Chickens.

I've recorded every meeting I've spoken at, mostly.

As have Neighbors, before, and after... the camera came in.

Sad.

{sadly... {in my opinion} who would want to live in a 'Town' where ya felt the NEED to 'Record'

 I Can't Pick Up This Little Piece of Pie,

 told Mayor Beer...

last week, if I could've... would've...

when their Long Time... Hired Engineer, Shane Wicks, from Hall and Hall, and former Mayor, Bernie... came knocking at our door.

10 years ago.

It was Hall and Hall Engineering... Dick Ransom, back in the 1990's, who 'worked' on Fairfax, Iowa's, and it seems The Iowa Department of Transportation's...

 behalf, taking, 'Condemning'....our Land.

Didn't much understand him, or... Fairfax, Iowa... 'City Hall', back then,

or...

Why, they'd all have to Take 17,500 feet, of frontage...

{50 to 70 feet In, from The Highway}

for a 4 foot shoulder, as the IDOT claimed.

I... kinda do, now.

Bless their hearts.

I'm really gonna try to embrace these battles, and not see them as

'Painful'... anymore.

Often, I forget that, and should see these 'obstacles' as Blessings.
