Whisking me Away!!

We hit the Discount Grocery, in Stringtown, Iowa...

then, headed to Pal, Barb's Beautiful Stores 'Open House'.

Oh My.

It was Lovely!!

Barb owns Sisters' Garden, and Bloom. 

{Located on Highway 1, between Iowa City, and Kalona, Iowa.}

Barb and I go back... 30 years.

She's been such a Blessing, in my life.

Love Her... Dearly.

Allyson found some Treasures... I bought 2 Beautiful Mums, and some Warty Pumpkins.

It was Crazy Busy... So Glad!!

We went on to The Vintage Market Days, at Hawkeye Downs, in Cedar Rapids.

We'd never been.

Wanted to check it out.

I've been asked over the years to set up there, but it always seems to conflict with my other Events.

That Place...was Also... Jumpin'!!

we went to a newer consignment shop, in Cedar Rapids, 

'Fia's Finds'.

Allyson had never been there. I've only been, a couple of times... but, always seem to find something.

We then, visited Antiques of Marion... had a nice visit with Jim, who was working for Randy...

then...

went to visit Lori, 

{'Details' Mt. Vernon Road, in Cedar Rapids.}

We all had a Lovely Time... catching up.

Lori's Store, is Beautiful.

As we were leaving Lori's... remembered a call I'd received last week, from a Vendor, that has set up at The Anamosa Antique & Vintage Market... for Years.

'Dixie'.

She's moving into a condo... invited me to her Living Estate Sale.

I'd Completely forgotten.

but...

when we started heading down Mt. Vernon Road, It All Came Back!!

Dixie lives just off of Mt. Vernon Road!!

Perfect!!

That was our last stop.

Long... Day.

Good

Day.

'Escape'.

Had Big Plans... for today.

Clean my bathroom, and bedroom.

'happen'.

That's ok.

Needed a little down-time.

Spent this day...

At Rest.

Body hurts.

Mind... needed a little 'quiet'.

Much to get done this week.

Makes me think of the quote,
