Around the World on Sixty Dollars

Hmmm....
This could be a Challenge...
Picked this old book up...from Charlie....
I got a kick...out of the cover...
I am on the road...today...
and am checking out the Green House...
I left the roof open...last night...and it poured...
don't even...want to see that mess...
My friend, from Chicago, rang....bright and early this morn....
He'll be bringing a load...to The Fall Harvest Sale....
Sounds like some Interesting....Treasures...: )
I'm going to do 'The No Early Sales'....again...this Fall...
It really worked out well...in the Spring...I got so much done...
I love to have Folks pop in...and...Soooo Love to Chat...: )
but...then...I have to work into the wee hours...getting my work done..
Not...Fun... : )
Peg, I Hope...will be here... She has a check up...later this month...to take a closer look..into her lung....
I pray...the news...is GOOD!!!!
She's been battling a bug....and is going to see her Doc, this morn... : (
Time is Flying...Past....
Summer...is winding down....
and...Fall....is coming in...Fast....
It's always such...a busy....busy...time....
One, can hardly catch their breath!
Hope you have an Amazing Day....
Love...to ya...

It is interesting to see this book pictured in your post. This true account was written over a hundred years ago by a relative of my husband, great or great-great uncle, Robert Meredith. According to family legend and the book, he really did leave his wife for a year to manage the farm in Lynnville, Iowa while he travelled and worked his way around the world.
