Pickin' up...

Well...my productive, Monday, turned out to be a 'Slug' Monday... The roads were a mess, so, I stayed home, and got a little done... There is so much in John's shop, I decided to let him get a little farther ahead, so there would be room for me! Sounds like he made great progress...
The Big Truck has some great stuff, held back for Anamosa...this Sunday...We still have to load some furniture...I asked the Boys, Josh and Justin, if I could get them to help load, for Nashville... {I always try and make it worth their while.... they really hustle, and it saves my body...}
Liz is having her Baby Shower, here...on the 30th... so, after the show, on Sunday...I need to get busy, getting things ready for that...She's having a girl...{I knew that from the first day she told me, she was expecting...she was so mad, when the doctor confirmed it...tee hee...} They are naming the baby Scarlett Belle...{oh dear... I had no idea watching Gone With the Wind, almost nightly, with me... would have such an impact.... } I'm not much of a Baby Shower person... I never had one for my kids, and have only attended three, my entire life...{I just don't fit in, with that kind of stuff... guess I'm missing that gene...} She doesn't want any games, just a visit...and start a journal, for the baby...a scrapbook, with all of her friends, and loved ones... I think I can do that...I'll do some food trays....and theme it out, for a Victorian, Scarlett Belle....it'll be fun...
Then...I'll turn my thoughts, to Heart... I have to get the truck in... all my bookwork done...before I leave...advertising...business cards... sacks... the list goes on and on...it's all good....
Peg will be here this week...she's bringing a Valentines group of gourds! I can't wait to see them! She'll have them, at Anamosa....
I'm headed to Wellman, this afternoon, to pick up, the rest of Saturday's load...
Hope You Have an Inspiring Day!
This old Cupboard, is way cooler, in person.... It's gallery, is all hand planed... I would guess, it's from the 1870's... The paint, is a bit intrusive... but...it is, what it is... If I have it, long enough, I may work on the surface.. it's definitely worthy of the attention...if I can scrape the time together....

Hey Janice!
I'm glad you found my door...
I was talking about Nashville, TN, and Mt.Vernon, Iowa.... Both very fun! If you are close to Mt.Vernon, IL, you should make the trip to Nashville... It's amazing...or, make plans to come spend a few days, in Iowa, we have an Amazing Honey Hole, of Antiqing!
{the cookie cutter, is hand made 'Amana'...oh dear...I have heart cutters...but none from Amana...and none this gnarly...'til now...}
Thanks Again,
Hope you stop again!
